Our second year at the MN Bass Fed Tournament of Champions had us at Minnetonka and bringing 13 members. Now sporting our new club jerseys we're taking the part of a club, but still being the new guys we are the least experienced in the TOCs. We're getting there and made significant improvements, but we also have a ways to go.

Front (left to right): Kevin Gabrielson, Mike Lebsack, Doug Pirila, Sharaku Kishida.
Back: Jason Wefel, Rainer Raaska, Jeff Wefel, Derek Lofald, Matt Amos.
It was a great time and we'll have many more. Contact us if you are interested in joining us for some competition and fishing. doug@uacbass.com

Great job Shark and Johnston. The Wefels and the new team of Derek and Matt did great too taking the other top spots. Bob and Andy close behind. You guys were lucky that Al and Doug weren't lucky, having boat troubles and having to throw a big bass of largemouth over board, then leave their boat on a dock, to get back for weight in. But that's fishing and everyone did great. Wow the smallmouth certainly were biting. Lots of big bags, limits and every single fish swam away. See ya at Blue Lake.

| Mtg Next Wk.. Hey we have our March meeting in one week. I hope to see you there. If you haven't paid in to the Bassmasters and state Bass Federation, its getting close to the BASS official roster deadline. Our April meeting will be the last time you can do this, since we need to report it in and pay for it in April.
We have a new sponsor, Outkast Tackle, so please stop by the April meeting to meet them and buy some of their fishing tackle. They will be giving a 25% discount at that meeting and a code for us to use online for a year.
I hope you have taken advantage of the Lamiglas deals, all the details are on our members only forums. If you haven't already, register at both www.Multispecies.com and www.uacbass.com Then we can get into the members only sections.
See ya next Wednesday, March 3 at the Powerhouse Bar for our meeting and to meet our new sponsor at Outkast and buy their products.

| UAC Bassmasters minutes 1/6/10 We had a great turnout with 10 members present and we picked up two new members, Andy and Greg. Welcome guys, we're glad to have you fishing with us this year.
We finally voted and picked the background of our new club jerseys. Black and white ended up finally taking it by a wide majority. Cool.
Now to let Jim do the finally rounds for sponsors and to start getting the graphics together for the sponsors and club, to send to the potential places to make our shirts. We'll see if they can add logos for individuals and the cost for them. Each person will have to cover any additional costs for anything extra they want on their shirt.
We discussed any and all questions from members. All club qualifying events are now more clearly listed on our website. Please check it out, and note that not all Ultimate Angler Bass events are UAC Club events.
The next State BASS Federation meeting is Jan 16, a few of us are going, if you want to join us, please let us know.
An important issue discussed are the many discounts that club members get from State Sponsors, like Lamiglas.
Remember you need to register at www.UACBass.com so we can get the angler profiles together. Each person will be responsible for their own profile. We will setup the basic page and you can login to make changes to it. Just let Doug know you are registered and he'll get you set up.
Remember we meet the first Wednesday of every month at the Powerhouse Bar in Proctor at 6:30pm. So bring anyone interested with you.

|
With the first season of UAC BASS behind us, we are looking to open the doors to add new members to our club. To join goto contact Doug at doug@ultimateanglerchallenge.com
It's simple, you need to be a member of Bassmasters and the Minnesota Bass Federation Nation, join our club, and fish with us. There are two ways to qualify for the TOC each year. We qualify for a set number of openings. So a certain number of teams at the top of our standings (best 5 of 6 events) from the prior year can qualify. Then again if you didn't make it the previous year, you and all new members compete for the remaining openings by being at the top after the first three events of the current year.
Our first year was great, now to get the meetings setup, the members signed up, official club shirts and sponsors arranged, and next year will be even better. We hope that any serious bass anglers consider joining us for 2010 and a shot at the Tournament of Champions on Lake Minnetonka next September.
We'ld like you to join our BASS team.
